Each Memory Bear is handcrafted from clothing you provide, transforming meaningful fabrics into a one-of-a-kind heirloom designed to celebrate memories, milestones, and the people we love.

Whether created from a baby’s first outfits, a favorite childhood wardrobe, or the clothing of a loved one, every bear tells a unique story. No two bears are ever exactly alike.

Each bear sits approximately 12 inches tall and is lovingly handmade in my coastal Georgia sewing studio.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

• One custom 12-inch Memory Bear
• Handmade using your provided clothing
• Safety eyes and securely sewn features
• Thoughtful placement of special details whenever possible, such as ruffles, pockets, buttons, collars, or other meaningful elements
• Remaining clothing and larger fabric scraps returned with your finished keepsake

HOW IT WORKS

1. Place your order.
2. Mail your clothing to the address provided via email after purchase.
3. I carefully design and create your bear using the garments provided.
4. Your finished keepsake and any remaining clothing will be returned to you.

TURNAROUND TIME

Current turnaround time is approximately 3-6 weeks from the date your clothing is received.

During busy seasons, turnaround times may vary. If you need your keepsake by a specific date, please contact me before ordering.

CLOTHING GUIDELINES

Most clothing works beautifully for Memory Bears, including:

• Baby clothing
• Children’s clothing
• Adult shirts and tops
• Lightweight sweaters
• Pajamas and sleepers
• Dresses and skirts

I am generally unable to use:

• Leather
• Thick denim
• Heavy outerwear
• Rainwear or vinyl materials
• Faux fur
• Extremely bulky fabrics

If you’re unsure whether your items are suitable, feel free to send photos before ordering.

SPECIAL DETAILS

Whenever possible, I love incorporating meaningful elements from the original garments, including:

• Ruffles
• Bows
• Pockets
• Buttons
• Collars
• Decorative trims

Because every clothing collection is different, the final design will be determined by the fabrics provided and what works best for the bear’s construction.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Each Memory Bear is handmade and created from unique garments. Small variations in fabric placement, shape, and stitching are part of the handmade process and make every keepsake truly one of a kind.

Please ensure all clothing is freshly washed before sending.

CUSTOM ORDER POLICY

Because Memory Bears are custom-made from your personal clothing, all sales are final. Returns, exchanges, and cancellations cannot be accepted once work has begun.

SAFETY DISCLAIMER

Memory Bears are keepsake items intended for display and sentimental purposes. They are not safety tested toys and are not intended for unsupervised use by children.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Spot clean only with a damp cloth.

Do not machine wash, soak, or tumble dry.

Store away from direct sunlight and excessive moisture to preserve the fabric and keepsake quality for years to come.
